This article is not just for athletes. It is also a good article for those considering themselves fitness enthusiasts and folks wanting to learn more about how to maximize their body's abilities.

First, I want to address a growing trend in training. Hopefully, it will come to an end. Two systems doom to fail are HIT and Chaos Training. Without a plan, your success will be a long shot or nothin
According to USFDA, a combination product is one composed of any combination of a drug and device; biological product and device; drug and biological product
g more than re-inventing a wheel, period. To be a “jack of all trades”, but a master of none is a ridiculous way of trying to train, especially on an advanced level. Too many athletes have injuries from not progressing correctly and attempting power movements when basic movements remain uncorrected. Too many people wishing to be “hardcore” try boot camp style workouts or a “cookie cut” workout

Examples of combination products may in
rom a website or magazine, only to find they do not understand the movements and end up overloading the wrong muscles (usually the back muscles) at the wrong time. It is a real pity. I would call it laziness of mind and body development. Understanding fundamentals of training needs to be addressed by everyone choosing to get serious with training. This idea especially holds true for athletes, t
lude drug-coated devices, drugs packaged with delivery devices in medical kits, and drugs and devices packaged separately but intended to be used together.

hat they will need a solid foundation free of motor skill dysfunction and injuries, to compete at maximal levels.

I am not going to take time to dilute verbiage for this article. I highly suggest if you don’t know what I am talking about look it up.

A strong foundation is of the utmost importance for both athlete and fitness enthusiasts. Every athlete should go through a period of low specifi

anatomical adaptation (AA) before increasing the specificity of the training regiment. I will outline the starting point of AA in this article. Before embarking on any regiment, it is very important to know your strengths and weak points. It may be wise to get a few consultation sessions specifically for physical assessment by a knowledgeable trainer.

First, posture needs to be addressed. The
d dose combinations are still in the process of convincing regulatory authority on their advantages over the single ingredient formulations.

spinal cord must be protected from “non- contact” injuries while training. In general, the spine will be kept in its strong position or “neutral” position throughout the workouts and daily task (if at all possible). This article will not go into too much detail of postural corrections. Throughout training you will need to be “body aware” and able to adapt proper position of the spine to create

When working out and going through daily life one should be able to “find the neutral spine” (McGill 2006). For most healthy individuals this is an equilibrium position between spinal flexion and extension. For some who carry back injuries, more flexion may be needed to hold a modified

    neutral spine.

This can be a very frustrating period of time, but it is a very important step to possessing strong posture. Once the neutral position is found, you must practice holding or bracing it at all times (if possible). The abdominals should feel tensed when in proper neutral positioning. This signifies the lumbar spine is not being loaded unnecessarily and the entire core complex is b

When I say 3D, I mean being able to be strong in all planes of motion (sagital- squat, pushup, arm curl (frontal- lateral lunges, jumping jacks, laterals arm raises) and (transverse chops, torso twist, scorpion). For instance, a football tight en

If he falls short of having strong posture and being able to hold balance and maximal speed in 3D, his game performance will be drastically hindered.

Next, abdominal bracing and muscle awareness goes hand in hand with posture and being aware o

I am a big advocate of the fact analysis causes paralysis. However, before something becomes subconscious and of secondary nature like breathing, it must first be conscious, especially when we speak of motor skills. S

At the same time being very aware of abdominals being braced or loss of abdominal bracing will be a major asset. Pavel has a good look at strong posture for working out. Breathing will go hand and hand with abdominal bracing. To have a strong posture and braced abdominals, you must be able to maintain it. Breathing should be maintained in the abdomen, this will keep from draining the secondary respiratory muscles and losing the strong posture. Pavel has a great dril

As combination products don't fit into the traditional categories of drugs, medical devices, or biological products, the USFDA is in the process of devel

Next, we will need to correct harmful movements before the strong posture was assumed. Here you practice “hip hinging”, which is keeping your spine in the neutral position and allow your hips to control flexion and extension (McGill 2006). Body weight type movements will do just fine here. The key is to keep the

You are still analyzing movements, so palpate your back, hips and abs to feel for proper movement and tension. In this phase the focus is a level of endurance with the muscles remaining tense for a given time period.

Many forms of isometric hold exercises would work well here. The exercises using repetitions should be done at a slower tempo. When complete, the nervous system should be able to recruit more motor units for use efficiently than before. Train smarter not harder.

As there is an increasing trend of the combination products companies manufacturing such products should be able to tackle the problems involved in the de
