Strike or Stroke

Are we striking or stroking with our words?

Godly Mothers - A Precious and Rare Gift

This month we recognize all moms for one day. It's one of the biggest retail sale days for flowers, cards and various other gifts. You're Crazy!

When (not if) a family member tells you you're crazy, just remember you are in excellent company!

Common Sense

Religion restores our relationship with God; it does not satisfy our curiosity.

Jesus, Cleopas and You

Dear Friend - walk with Jesus and Cleopas!

Wings or Crutches

The birds complained bitterly when God placed wings on their backs. God told them to wait a week. Then they discovered they could fly. What they thought was an unnecessary burden became their joy!

Answering Before Listening

Love Yourself, Too

The acronym JOY goes thus: Jesus, Others, and You. This is the priority. But you are in there also to be loved, for Jesus loves you.

True Heroes

The true hero gets out of bed every morning no matter how s/he feels and gets on with life and kids and work. It may not pay today but it will surely pay high dividends in ten or twenty years from now.

Serendipities!

Many wonderful things happen to us in the course of a day, if we only recognize them.

We Are Not Umpires of Empires

If we keep in mind that someone we perceive as our enemy is God's good friend, we may be less likely to harbor negative emotions about him or her. Jesus died for all people; for that reason alone, we do well to willingly love them.

God Waits, Also

We waste much time waiting for signs and wonders.

Be Kind to the Kin

Loving someone is sometimes the easy part; it is the living with someone that turns our heart into sour mash that becomes bitter and unpalatable.

Spring Cleaning Series: Let Go of Lack & Scarcity

Read about a little-known epidemic that can undermine your productivity, problem-solving and leadership abilities and the no-pain innoculation to keep you at the top of your game.
